Limited Warranty (Non-Transferable)

FlyAudio's warranty coverage is limited to the original retail purchaser, in the original vehicle, and is non-transferable.

Matching Factory Limited Warranty Terms:
FlyAudio Navigation systems are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period equaling that of the vehicle manufacturer's standard bumper-to-bumper warranty in which the system is installed, from date of original retail purchase. Applies only to systems installed by FlyAudio Authorized Dealers or car dealerships and excludes Extended and Drivetrain Warranty terms. Warranty coverage for systems installed more than sixty (60) days after the new vehicle sale is one year/12,000 miles, whichever comes first. This applies to car dealers and retail stores.

*Limited Warranty Expiration & Proof of Purchase. Retail sales receipt is required as proof of date of purchase. If proof of purchase cannot be presented at the time of Warranty/repair, the Warranty period defaults to the manufacturing date code, plus 3 months. If any component(s) do not begin a new Warranty period and the original date of purchase/Warranty period still applies.
*Obtaining Warranty Service. Should the product(s) be determined defective during the applicable Limited Warranty Period, the defect(s) will be repaired or replaced with a new or reconditioned part(s) must be returned to a FlyAudio Authorized Dealer, along with proof of purchase and Warranty coverage.

Exclusions (for all Warranties) These Limited Warranies exclude:


FlyAudio branded products purchased from non-authorized distributors/dealers/retailers carry no warranty.

Elimination of externally generated static or noise, or the correction of antenna problems or weak television reception.
* Costs incurred for installation, removal or reinstallation of the product(s).
* Damage to video games, software, camcorders, discs, speakers, accessories or vehicle electrical systems.
* Cosmetic damage or damage due to negligence, misuse, abuse, failure to follow operating instructions, accidental spills or customer applied cleaners.
* Damage or loss due to environmental causes such as floods, airborne fallout, chemicals, salt, hail, windstorms, lightning or extreme temperatures.
* Damage or loss due to accidents, road hazards, fire, theft or vandalism.
* Damage due to improper installation or connection, improper connection to equipment of another manufacturer, modification of existing equipment, use of a faulty DVD/CD or MP3 disc, cleaning of the DVD player.
* Product(s) which have been opened or tampered with for any reason or which have been damaged due to alteration or service performed by anyone other than FlyAudio.
Note: Repairs have a 90 day warranty. If the unit sent in is still under its original warranty, then the new warranty is 90 days or to the end of the original one year warranty, depending upon which is longer.

THE WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES CONTAINED HEREIN ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY LIABILITY ARISING UNDER ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, WHICH MAY VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL FLYAUDIO BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, WHETHER RESULTING FROM THE USE, MISUSE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT OR FROM DEFECTS IN THE PRODUCT. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

Disputes: All claims or disputes must be settled in the State of Washington, according to Washington State law. In the event of any litigation arising out of this agreement, FlyAudio shall be entitled to its costs and expenses incurred including, without limitation, attorney's fees.
